Behind every porcelain drop pendant lies a meticulous handcrafting process by Sarah Tracton that brings it to life. Beginning with the pouring of porcelain slip onto plaster slabs, they transform from liquid to solid. This technique not only allows for the precise shaping of each light but also ensures the unique texture and character that only handcrafting can impart. This process instills a sense of authenticity and individuality into each piece, as the subtle variations and imperfections encountered along the way are part of each pendant’s journey.

A delicate red-orange pendant was commissioned for a moody and atmospheric bedroom in a Victorian period architectire home located in Ripponlea, Melbourne's second smallest suburb. This handcrafted piece serves as the centerpiece of the room, casting a warm and organic glow set against a backdrop of grey-painted walls.
